Professional Career & Communications Life Coaching

"Safe Haven: Pleasure, Pain and Progress" is an 8-week creative writing/journaling progression designed to open the mind and heart, and equip participants with tools to move them toward greater personal fulfillment. The sessions incorporate poetry, music, visual arts and introspection to give real life demonstration of the benefits of journaling, especially for women in recovery. Topics include forgiveness, family and personal identity, identifying personal power, goal-setting and paying it forward.

“A Foot in the Door” Work Readiness workshop is an 8-week program designed to empower participants to present themselves in the best possible light to potential employers. Participants create their own master applications, learn how to develop custom resumes and cover letters and practice interview skills, as well as set the stage to develop career paths for the future. The course also discusses ethics, and specifically how people in recovery can successfully address sensitive issues surrounding work history to achieve their employment goals.
