Outreach Recovery Coach
The Outreach Recovery Coach is an individual whose role it is to support others in recovery from a substance use disorder. This person serves as a role model, mentor, advocate and motivator to recovering individuals in order to help prevent relapse and promote long-term recovery.
 Consequently, the Outreach Recovery Coach must hold the following beliefs and demonstrate the following qualities:
  • A personal belief in recovery.
  • A genuine hope and optimism that their peers will succeed.
  • A willingness to share their own recovery experience.
  • Nonjudgmental of those who have an SUD or psychiatric disorder.
  • An ability to flexibly engage people based on their level of receptivity and individual needs, acknowledging that even the same person may need different types of peer-based services at different points in their recovery process.

Peer Support Staff
  • The Peer Support Staff (PSS) performs routine services for residents of the housing program. The PSS serves as a liaison to other staff members. 
  • Must have the ability to read, speak, write, and follow oral and written directions in English.  
  • A High School education or equivalent is required.
  • This is a grant funded position:  
  1. Part-time – As Needed (PRN)
  2. Requires meal preparation skills
  3. Must attend a weekly staff meeting, 1pm-3pm.

Administrative Assistant/ Office Manager
  • The Administrative Assistant (AA) is responsible for maintaining accurate and up to date records on all MSC clients.
  • In addition, the AA is responsible for providing all clerical functions, including typing and word processing responsibilities, handling incoming phone calls, assisting the Executive Director (ED), Executive Staff and Board of Directors (BOD) with scheduling appointments, recording minutes at various meetings, and other general office duties.
  • This is a grant funded, full-time, salaried position requiring a 40-hour per week commitment.
